Technical Architect

Technical Architect sought by Delaware Health Information Network in Dover, DE, 40 hrs/wk. To obtain & maintain a deep understanding of the currently applied technologies, data models, application functionality, development processes, & project mgmt tools for all DHIN Services incl: Mirth Connect, DHIN's Provider Based Results Router, HL7 versions 2.x, 3.x, HL7 FHIR STU 3 & version 4, amongst others. Work w/ the project managers & other dsgn resources to refine all business reqmts & use cases so that they are granular & individually testable. Identify which DHIN service components will be changing & describe these changes in drawings & docs as part of the Service Dsgn Package. Provide tech'l impact assessments to the Service Design Process. Reqs: Bach's Deg in Comp Sci or related field & 36 months of IT exp w/in Healthcare Industry or similar sized & complex industries. Certified in ITIL Foundations or commit to becoming certified w/in the first year of employment. Understanding of the fundamentals of IT systems, n/works & operations. Understanding of the intricacies involved in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), HL7, FHIR & HIT standards.
