Global Consumer Operations Strategy provides critical Analytics and Reporting, Workforce Management and Transformation leadership to all Lines of Business and Regions within Citi's Global Consumer Bank. The Global Strategy team drives value for our partners in Operations by delivering proactive analytics on customer behavior in our servicing channels, identifying transformational opportunities and ensuring operations efficiently meets customer service commitments.

 

Job Description

 

Data is one of Citi's most critical assets, and the quality and management of Citi's data assets is integral to delivering a remarkable customer experience and meeting the bank's objectives. The Head of Strategy Analytics for Global Operations Strategy  is currently seeking a candidate to act as a Big Data Engineer Lead. The Strategic Analytics team, within Global Consumer Bank, is focused on deployment of the Enterprise Analytics Platform and the Enterprise Data Governance operational model to improve the quality of data used in key enterprise processes.

 

The Big Data Engineer Lead will be part of a highly visible team focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands. The person will lead the development of data & analytics platforms for Global Operations, including identifying foundation data, help creating the data lake, and understanding and leveraging advanced machine learning tools.

Qualifications

 

  • Leads Data & Analytics Platforms development and sustainment; including Data Lake, Analytics, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Machine Learning platforms and more.
  • Works closely with Business and Technology executives to develop platforms vision, strategy and execution plans that are aligned with business analytics outcomes.
  • Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key data/analytics innovation platforms.
  • Helps formulate data quality management and controls program for Global Operations.
  • Ensures end-to-end data is captured accurately during customer onboarding, account opening and maintenance process and is leveraged effectively analytical models.
  • Partners with Technology and Data Architecture teams to ensure architectural consistency across all platforms.
  • Contributes to cross-team and function Enterprise data mapping and strategy.
  • Ensures the technical team aligns with architectural standards, documentation and operational strategy.
  • Will work closely with the Global Decision Management team to execute strategies in the new 'big data' environment.
