DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Establishes and oversees the implementation of site-specific programs to ensure delivery of necessary Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), including relevant corporate standards, which are designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, manage risk, and establish consistent expectations of performance for site personnel and management. Manage related risks to employees safety and health; business assets; and the environment. Serves as the primary coordinator for crisis management and a key coordinator for business continuity management. Responsible for campus environmental, health, safety procedures and activities. Co-Chair monthly meetings of site Safety Teams Plan and implement projects/measures with support of facilities team and/or outside contractors as required Liaison with Corporate EHS personnel on programs and special projects. Implement and roll out appropriate EHS programs to the employees along with required training materials o Coordinate and leverage synergies where possible with company training materials Ensure life safety equipment is maintained and tested in accordance with regulations Ensure Corporate EHS polices are implemented and followed Prepare Monthly Dashboards Highlighting EHS operations at the campus Provide EHS support to campus business units and their operations Provide EHS support and input to projects at the campus Coordinate accident/injury response and investigation Coordinate with Corporate EHS on reporting of accidents/injuries Provide support to facilities department as required for on-going facility operations Responsible for certain finance functions: o Create shopping carts for purchase order processing o Request new vendor account creation o Follow up on payment status of orders and invoices o Responsible for leadership and development of contractors. A working knowledge of GMP sterile operations and SOP s are required for the position. Candidate must have the ability to coordinate, administer and train all OSP s providing services at the project location. PROBLEM SOLVING Able to communicate effectively and achieve consensus quickly through the use of well-developed facilitation skills. Effectively influences and collaborates with internal and external partners to achieve goals. Engages internal and external stakeholders as appropriate in identification and resolution of issues. Interacts with EHS/Security/Facilities personnel on site issues and projects.
