Description
Ensure that design reviews are conducted on projects to identify the ability to meet product Quality standards.
Indentify and/or define quality requirements specific to the project and make sure that they are taken into consideration by all stakeholders (including partners and participating units.
Identify key product and process characteristics. Develop methodology for verification and control of key characteristics.
Coordinate quality activities and assume permanently a good relationship and communication with the customers (both internal and external) .
Establish inspection criteria and define common processes for execution, planning, and scheduling.
Measures improvement and weaknesses, proposes to project Manager any action or required resources in case of issues related to Quality, and push all Quality Focus actions within the project .
Assist in defining quality requirements for supplier purchase orders.
Write the project Quality Assurance Plan.
Ensure consistency with the quality systems, especially the effectiveness of recording related to quality, and corresponding continuous improvement.
Verify process compliance.
Participate in project reviews when required.
Facilitate problem solving and corrective actions follow up at production level, both internal and suppliers facilities, to ensure responses are timely and accurate and allow for repeatability.
Develop / implement improvements to Project Quality as necessary to assure QCD objectives.
Any and all other responsibilities, in addition to those mentioned above, as assigned by supervisor/manager. Any interpretation/clarification with responsibilities above will be settled by the supervisor/manager. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Associated Field (desirable)
5 years Quality experience over a broad range of components
Rail experience (desirable)
Familiarity with Corrective Action Processes
Good communication skills
Ability to work with Customer
