Contract to start about 10/17/2011 thru 4/30/2012 in Wilmington, DE.

Job Description

* At least 2-3 years? experience with data warehouse projects and required tools

including

* MS Analysis Services
* MS Integration Services
* MS Reporting Services
* Banking/financial services background would be ideal
* Strong experience on SSIS ,SSAS and SSRS + SQL 2005/2008
* Experience architecting and developing large EDW solutions with the Microsoft Platform
* Requires a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, object-oriented design and relational database modeling principles, multidimensional database design, ETL, MS SQL Server and report design/development using MS SQL Server Integration, Analysis & Reporting Services

Further information on what these three database developers for our data warehouse will be doing on a day to day basis

* Lead the development of data delivery application Interfaces, queries, reports and dashboards using Microsoft business intelligence tools (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS) and Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio.
* Creates and maintains data loading processes and addresses related data integrity issues.
* Participate in development, implementation and administration of data cleansing processes.
* Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle - requirements analysis, development, testing, and implementation using Agile methodologies
* Work with analysts, business staff, technical staff, and team members to understand business processes and use this knowledge to design, develop and implement business intelligence applications and reports.
* Work with database administrators on optimization.
* Participate in the design, development and maintenance of data architecture, data management standards, data naming standards and data dictionaries.
* Create, maintain, and present technical documentation.
* Assist in the estimation of cost and time for development.
