JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for day-to-day centralized accounts payable related processes ensuring accurate and timely recording, including interaction with the Company s business units and Airgas Corporate Central Accounting Group, Oracle IT and Corporate Finance Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Supervises day-to-day centralized accounts payable-related processes:
o Accounts payable payments
o Duplicate pay review
o 1099 reporting
o Vendor master file
o e-involving imaging
o Subject matter expert for Oracle accounts payable system
o Coordinate vendor reconciliations
o Consolidated invoiced data entry
o Wire and ACH processing
o Month-end processing
o Plan and execute special projects
Escalate non-routine issues to Central Account Group Manager
Develop and test Oracle reports and other information
Ensure consistent application of Airgas policies and procedure
Maintain process and training documentation for field and corporate employees
Provide appropriate and timely feedback to team members for work performance, including delivering performance appraisals
Identify opportunities to enhance/streamline business processes.
Ensure existence and functionality of internal controls.
Develop measurements to manage key processes/staff performance.

Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team, and has a clear understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people.
Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

Must have stone supervisory skills with ability to prioritize work

EDUCATION:
Associates degree or four year college degree preferred (significant work experience will also be considered).

EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of supervisory experience
Oracle Accounts Payables including forms, reports, system interfaces or other process support tools, inquiry and reporting functionality experience a plus
